AAPGuild - Mel Wright

A commericial and portrait photographer since the mid-1960's, has extended his subject matter from family scenes to landscapes in South America and the Near East. His photographs of jazz bandleader Sun Ra (1914-1993) provide a poetic reading of the bandleader and pianist whose mantra was "Space is the Place."
